I will help you to find a resolution regarding the driver issue. Right-click on the driver and click on properties.
No upgrade log present probably fresh install UserGroups:. On" bluegooth the icon is greyed-out and when I open the preferences dialog, I am only given the option to "Turn on bluetooth" with a large button. I have a USB hub. I have the same question The window shows bluetooth is on. Duplicates of this bug Bug Restarting the service doesn't solve the problem for me. I should also note that a separate USB bluetooth dongle I have works as expected when plugged in.
Some drivers are very specific about the operating system version, so you might have to wait until the manufacturer releases Windows 8 drivers if they make them for your model. No upgrade log present probably fresh install dmi.
So it seems the bluetooth in the A does not work but a workaround is availabke if you use a USB-bluetooth adapter. Stuart Metcalfe - Tb this problem still occur on Ubuntu I would suggest you to download the G-Sensor and Bluetooth drivers for Windows 7 operating system cionia the manufacturer website and install it in Windows 7 compatibility mode and check if that help.
