I would rather a product fully develop and de-bug a solution, than be the "first" to release something and innudate the end user with endless updates and bugs. Its by far still the best product like it on the market, There are competitors but their fit and finish are far superior to the majority and their App is still considerably better.

The integration with SOnos broke. The link is now pointing to the post correctly. I have the exact same issue. I often use the AudioControl Rialto for this purpose. I can also say that many other control4 integrators in our region have expressed similar concern. Zones take forever to group and ungroup, and audio cuts out when streaming Tidal or Deezer at higher bitrates.

I am sure that there will be a proper C4 driver in the not too distant future following the aonos iOS and tvOS releases I'm debating staying with Sonos Amps vs. They Don't care I'm going to have my client call. Probably because the integration of Control4 was not an official one?

Sons I used to love Sonos, their compatibility with sources has been great, but the direction they're headed has been very problematic.

Are there shortcomings in the new Sonos API that prevents anyone from providing all the functionality available in the previous driver? You just changed your tune when you realized how silly it was to expect that.

So in a nutshell it is not a matter of people being upset that the old driver was somehow broken, because in most situations it continues to work just fine, but rather that the new driver, the only one currently available, has to have so much less functionality, the snos for which has not been explained well enough to satisfy these unhappy customers. The process of converting the analog input to Sonosnet creates a small delay, causing lipsync issues between the picture and sound. If you want to up your snoos setup and stick with Control4 I'd suggest going for the Tria One, the successor to the Speakerpoint, which is far superior in quality.

Vontrol4 I set a few Radio stations as favourites on the Sonos system, as I gather from your previous messages it is these favourites that are selected from Control4 navigators. This topic has been closed for further comments. Still trying to understand why Control4 endorsed this driver if it is so much worse than the previous one from Extra Vegetables?
