The problem you are experiencing can be caused due to a bad driver or a problem with the USB connection, in order to verify exactly where the problem starts please see the following article from Microsoft on how to open the Device Manager. If the issue persists, I suggest you to download the driver from the manufactures website and install it in compatibility mode and check if it helps to resolve the issue.
I have the same question Does a different driver work? I suggest you to get in touch with Dymo support team for further assistance on this issue:. For such a tiny device, it looks like a rather massive install. I would just like to confirm that the second solution provided by Krishna Prasobh V will resolve your issue.
