If the device does not show up as a serial port, you will probably not be able to connect to it -- not unless Keyence provides drivers to connect. When I look through the Keyence web site, the devices that have the USB interface appear to be only in the LK series but I might have missed something.

I read through the LK-G manual, g001 it says nothing at all about what kind of device it will show up as being -- it does not for example say that it will show up as a virtual serial port.
